Once upon a time...

Originally from Ireland, Bróna Sparkes is an artist and aspiring writer who lives with her young family on Awabakal land, near Newcastle, Australia.  

As a child, Bróna loved creating pictures and stories, songs and poems, excitedly turning stapled pages into first books. 

While she has worked in various fields, from marketing to medicine, she feels most comfortable with a pen or pencil in hand, scrawling or sketching ideas across a page.

She started Lánua Crafts to share her most recent cafty creations - lovely, unique handmade jewellery, décor and more.
